A Huntsville Wedding at Annabella of Cedar Glenn

When I photographed Nicole and Derek for their engagement session, there was no doubt we were going to get fantastic images from their wedding.  They were so in love; capturing moments of intimacy between them was cake! I love photographing couples that are so into each other that they don’t notice the world around them ( except maybe that Charger going down the street, hey Derek?)

Annabella at Cedar Glenn offers some great areas for photographs. I prefer those special places that require some skill in being able to “see the light”  in order to be utilized, they produce some awesome light for portraits or landscapes that are unique.

We started off with Nicole and her girls getting ready in the spacious bride’s room, and then out on the shaded back porch  for some quick photos before everyone melted in the Summer  heat.  We took the guys out front  for pics. Derek had the BEST groomsmen! They kept him loose and fun while hamming up some fun shots for Missy and I.   Their ceremony was  amazing;  the afternoon light was streaming through the trees creating a fairytale aura.  ( allowing me to capture one of my favorite images from all year!)   Overall, I’d say it was a great success! Congrats to Nicole and Derek!

THE LEDGES WEDDING HUNTSVILLE AL : Kristen & Joseph

Some days everything just falls into place. The Sun was bright and a steady breeze was keeping the humidity at bay. We had an awesome couple to photograph, and a beautiful setting for it all to transpire.   We started  photography early with Kristen and here attendants.  Keeping to the shade and using the sun to my advantage,  I was able to capture the radiance of the Bride and all her beauty.

Then we moved on to Joseph and the guys for some photos out on the green. The thing that struck me right away about Joe was his casual nature, and how that came across in the photos. Despite the building heat, this was one cool groom.

Thanks to all the vendors!  The venue, food, flowers, entertainment, all it made for the perfect evening. Especially, thanks to the couple, their families, and friends!

Florist: Glenn’s
Caterer: The Ledges

Wedding Huntsville, Al ~ Engagement Session

Kyle and Meghan were so much fun and full of energy.  I have been wanting to shoot this location for quite sometime and this was the perfect couple to do it with.  Meghan’s and Kyle’s  style was a perfect match for this vintage inspired engagement session.  This shoot was filled with so many of my favorite things: tandem bicycles, watermelons, horses, vintage cameras, and good friends; what more could I ask for?

I think I seriously love cold watermelon.
